Version 2.0.19

Version 2.0 is a major upgrade to Inno Setup 1.3 which, among other things, incorporates nearly all features from Martijn Laan's My Inno Setup Extensions, including support for a Windows 2000 wizard style, user-customizable installations, silent installation, and more. Also new is a syntax-highlighting editor and a script creation wizard in the compiler. Version 2.0.6 adds full MBCS support, which should greatly improve compatibility with Far East character sets.

Filename Date Size Description
isetup-2.0.19.exe 2002-02-10 1,099 KB Inno Setup version 2.0.19, self-installing package.

issrc-2.0.19.zip 2002-02-10 332 KB Delphi source code to Inno Setup version 2.0.19.
This archive contains only the source code; it does not include documentation or examples.

Important Note: The Setup project is currently only compilable in Delphi 2 (which is what I use) due to a compatibility issue with Delphi 3 and higher. The issue has been corrected in the Inno Setup 3.0.3 sources.

Note: This .zip file uses long filenames and directories. In WinZip, make sure Use Folder Names is checked so that the directory structure will be recreated properly.

Version 1.3.26

Probably the most significant new feature in 1.3 is its ability to maintain a single set of uninstall files (unins*.*) when an application is installed more than once. (See the help topic "Appending to Existing Uninstall Logs" for details.) In prior versions (1.2.x and earlier), Setup created a new set of uninstall files for each installation of the application. For most users, this alone should be reason enough to upgrade to 1.3.

Note: There will be no 16-bit version of Inno Setup 1.3 (and later). You will have to continue using version 1.2 if you need a 16-bit installer.

Version 1.2.16

Version 1.2 is an old version of Inno Setup. The only reason it is still up here is that it's the last version of Inno Setup that supported 16-bit Windows.

What's new in 1.2.16 since 1.11?

Filename Date Size Description
isetup16-1.2.16.exe 2000-04-18 574 KB Inno Setup version 1.2.16, 16-bit version. (The EXE is self-installing and was created with Inno Setup.)
